Can anyone tell me how to use multi monitor? In my set up I use vCenter Appliance or VSphere Client to open the console for a Windows 2008 virtual machine. I have connected 2 monitors with the same resolution and it appears that Win2008 virtual machine has detected both monitors (see attachment 1) but when I go to control panel >- Screen Resolution and click on Identify, it only identifies the main monitor and not the second one and as a result nothing is displayed on the second monitor. Furthermore, under display, it thinks that the second monitor is connected by a VGA cable when it is connected by vdi cable.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this will be appreciated.
