Can not remove folder, remove from ADSI editor instead?

Problem as topic states, cannot delete Folder. Read somewhere online that any pools assigned to folder would have to be removed/re-assigned first, but there are no pools. This setup was subject to some corruption due to clients being deleted in vcenter, but I cleaned those up via the ADAM database queries.  I thought about attempting a manual removal of the folder from within the ADSI editor as it looks like it's called a 'group' and is located at OU=Groups. I didn't have the nerve to do it so I came here. I assume that because "Remove Folder" is greyed out that something is wrong and I shouldn't break it further.
